As part of its commitment to green and sustainable construction, the Code Council is excited to announce that the International Green Construction Code® (IgCC) has been published and is available for purchase. The earlier public version of the IgCC has already been adopted by a number of jurisdictions. This ambitious initiative included collaboration from the CouncilĀ“s closest allies and pre–eminent thought leaders in green building, as well as outreach and feedback from our members and the general public. The cooperating sponsors include the American Institute of Architects (AIA), ASTM International, ASHRAE, U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES).
